The new trilogy of films from Disney’s Lucasfilm studio will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on April 21.
But, to help fans in the US and Europe get their hands on the new films, the company has teamed up with the popular movie retailer Blu-Ray, offering the first release in two weeks.
Here are the key features: The first of the two Blu-rays will come bundled with the original ‘Star Trek’ movie, which includes ‘TOS’, ‘VOY’, ‘The Trouble With Tribbles’ and ‘The Cage’.
The second release will include the film’s new deleted scenes, including ‘The Search For Spock’ and a teaser for ‘Starbuck’ that includes a scene of Kirk and Spock’s wedding.
The movie will also include a brand new deleted scene, featuring ‘Kirk’s first encounter with Spock’ in a deleted scene from ‘TAS’ that was previously only available on the Blu-Rays original release.
Star Trek: The Next Generation’s deleted scene will also be included.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ will be added to the new Blu-RAY, and will also feature a new deleted Scene featuring a scene that aired in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.
The Blu-DVD will also offer new deleted Scenes from the ‘Dark Horse’ Star Wars comics, including one of Luke Skywalker and a deleted Scene from ‘Starlog’ featuring a deleted line from the comic.
A new movie trailer for ‘The Last Jedi,’ featuring Kylo Ren, will be included on the DVD.
Finally, there will be a special feature for fans of the films in which they can watch clips from all five films, including a new scene from Star Trek: ‘The Final Frontier’ that will be shown.
Fans can pre-order the ‘The Next Generation’ Blu-ROM set, which will be available for $79.99, and the ‘TNG’ Blu+DVD set, with a price tag of $79,99.
